OURMODEL

Our experience has taught us, “less is more” in consulting with our clients. Our consulting model is unique and is designed to adapt and provide the national scale to assist the 5,000 chronically low-performing school districts. We assign 1 to 3 consultants (depending on the scope of work and size of school or district) who are on the ground leading engagements.

From our experience working with education clients, there is not the luxury of having lots of meetings, but when we do meet, we make it count. In addition, we have discovered that most clients do not need us to be “on site” each day of each week for six months. Instead, what our clients actually receive is multiple brains examining, creatively solving, and sharing insights to help improve execution; this is done virtually and is an essential ingredient and requirement for our consultants. What’s more, the same consultants who contribute virtually are also leading their individual engagements that provides each member with continuous learning by receiving the same support from our internal network of brainpower.

What typically happens with many consulting projects is consultant’s bill a lot hours and the client receives an eye-popping invoice with expenses, and along the way, nobody asked what is the impact or result we need? How did they add value that is relevant and sustainable for our school district? We frame our client engagements by asking this question of ourselves from day one “is it relevant and sustainable?” If the answer is yes, it is likely going to make an impact and thus the value will be evident for the client sponsor.

Our Business Model

One Client + Served by Multiple Consultants = Client Pays for One Consultant

Billing by the hour is a losing value proposition for clients. This is especially acute with education clients. Thus, our fee structure is designed to help achieve specific outcomes, milestones or to address a specific issue. We do not seek out open-ended agreements to fill interim positions; this is not our business model. Therefore, it is vital that clients obtain clarity and understand what they expect the impact to be for our services?
